Relocation Associate- Seniors

Can you patiently help someone review their personal items? 🫶

Help Seniors Transition to Their Next Chapter

Do you enjoy helping seniors and making a meaningful difference in someone’s life? Can you work patiently with clients while they make decisions about their belongings?

Our company assists older adults with the transition to senior living communities. We help clients sort, pack, move, and set up their belongings so they can walk into a fully organized and comfortable new home.

Our team works directly with clients over a week to three months or more, helping them decide which personal items to keep, donate, gift, or discard. We carefully inventory, clean, and pack belongings, coordinate with a moving company, and then unpack and arrange everything in the client’s new home according to the floor plan.

At the end of the day, our clients arrive at a home that is fully set up — with no unpacked boxes.

We are looking for reliable, respectful, and hardworking individuals to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Team members assist with the entire relocation process, including:

  • Packing and inventorying clients’ personal belongings
  • Using our software to track items and their condition
  • Lifting and moving boxes and items for donation or delivery
  • Loading items into vans for transport
  • Clearing unwanted items, trash, and packing materials from the job site
  • Unpacking and carefully arranging belongings in the client’s new home according to the floor plan
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment at all times
  • Communicating clearly and respectfully with clients to ensure they feel comfortable and supported

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position.

You must be able to:

• Regularly lift 40–50 lbs
• Stand, bend, and move throughout the day
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Reality Check- What This Job Is Really Like

This is a physically active job, not a desk position. On a typical day you may:

  • Pack 50+ items
  • Lift and move boxes throughout the day
  • Work inside homes that may be cluttered
  • Spend hours on your feet
  • Help seniors make emotional decisions about their belongings
  • Moving day- complete the home set-up within 8 hours

This role is best suited for people who enjoy hands-on work, organizing, and helping others.

Moving later in life can be overwhelming for seniors and their families. Our team helps make this transition less stressful and more dignified.

When our work is complete, our clients walk into a new home that is fully unpacked, organized, and ready to live in.

For many clients, this moment represents the start of a new chapter in life.

If you enjoy helping people and making a real difference, this can be an incredibly rewarding role.

Ideal Background

Candidates with experience in the following roles often do well in this position:

  • Nurses, Caregivers
  • Hotel housekeeping
  • Moving companies
  • Waitstaff / hospitality
  • Grocery or retail stocking
  • Retail sales

  • Girl Scouts/ Boy Scouts

Personal Qualities We Value

We work with a diverse group of seniors who have lived fascinating lives. Team members must be:

• Kind and patient
• Good listeners
• Trustworthy and respectful

We can train the technical aspects of the job — the right attitude and character are essential.
